Towards Better Adaptation and Resilience from Climate Risks

On 9 and 11 May, WWF-Malaysia and the British High Commission Kuala Lumpur virtually hosted an event over two parts on Adaptation and Resilience. This event was the first of our ongoing conversations following the launch of the WWF-Malaysia-BCG report entitled 'Securing our Future: Net Zero Pathways for Malaysia' at COP 26 in Glasgow and in Taman Tugu in Malaysia.

The event also served as a platform to launch two animated videos explaining Nature-Based Solutions. These hand-drawn videos help viewers understand what Nature-Based Solutions are by giving the UNEA-5 definition of Nature-Based Solutions and examples from work on the ground.

Below, we give links to view both parts of the events, links to the slides, and links to our NBS videos. These videos will also be translated into Bahasa Malaysia and the video links will be added here soon.
