Join the Earth Hour Virtual Run for Nature 2022 Contest
To get everyone geared up for the virtual run, WWF-Malaysia invites everyone to participate in the Earth Hour Virtual Run for Nature Instagram Contest, which will be held in two parts:
• Contest Part 1 – 14 February 2022 – until Earth Hour day 11:59pm 26 March 2022: Best run pose and greeting caption = 5 winners (Details below)
• Contest Part 2 – 27 March until 11:59pm 30 June 2022 – Best photo with Jersey, e-bib and/or finisher medal and greeting caption – 5 winners (Details below)

Contest Part 1 – 14 February 2022 until Earth Hour day 11:59pm 26 March 2022
Post a photo of yourself either getting ready, during or after the run on Instagram, along with your most creative “Happy 50th Anniversary WWF-Malaysia” greeting (in 50 words or less) in the caption. 5 best photos and greetings will win.

Contest Part 2 – 27 March until 11:59pm 30 June 2022
Post a photo of yourself with your jersey, e-bib and/or finisher medal along with your most creative “Happy 50th Anniversary WWF-Malaysia” greeting (in 50 words or less) in the caption. 5 best photos and greetings will win.

Mechanics
1. Sign in to your Instagram account via the mobile application or Instagram website.
2. Ensure that the account is made “public”.
3. Post a photo with a ‘Happy 50th Anniversary’ WWF-Malaysia greeting in the caption based on the requirements of the contest onto your IG feed.
4. Include the hashtags #WWFVirtualRunForNature #wwfmy #JomRun #EarthHour #50YearsTogetherForNature and tag WWF-Malaysia and JomRun Instagram accounts at @wwfmy and @jomrun.official
Winner Announcement
1. Within a fortnight of the respective contest part end date, the winner details will be posted on WWF-Malaysia’s IG. Winners will be tagged under the contest post.
2. A total of 10 winners (5 x 2 contest parts) will receive WWF merchandise prizes.
3. Winners consent to provide details (full name, date of birth, contact number, and delivery address) through Instagram Messenger when contacted on the day after the end date of the respective contest part.
4. WWF-Malaysia’s decision in selecting the winner(s) for the Challenge is final and conclusive. Correspondence will not be entertained.
5. WWF-Malaysia will not be responsible for sending prizes to winners who do not share their contact details with WWF-Malaysia within 20 days after the winner announcement.
Terms and Conditions
1. Malaysians residing in Malaysia are eligible to join the Contest with no limit on the number of entries per person. One participant can only win one prize.
2. Participants aged below 18 years are responsible to obtain parental consent before participating in this Contest.
3. Members, employees or immediate family of WWF-Malaysia staff, or anyone else connected to the administration and execution of the Contest may take part in this Contest but they are not eligible to win any prizes.
4. By entering the Contest, the participant indicates that he / she is the sole copyright owner of the material (photo and caption) and that this material does not infringe upon any other third party’s rights. Participants who are found to have submitted non-original and non-proprietary material will be disqualified.
5. The participant agrees to grant an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to WWF-Malaysia to reproduce, distribute, display, share and create derivative works of the entries connected with the Contest and the promotion of WWF-Malaysia’s conservation work.
6. WWF-Malaysia will not pay any fees for, nor bear any costs relating to, the entry of the participant into the Contest or for their use as described above. Where possible and to the extent feasible, WWF-Malaysia will credit the photograph(s) as follows when publishing: © First and last name of entrant / WWF-Malaysia.
7. WWF-Malaysia reserves the right to change the “Terms and Conditions” at any time without prior notice to the participants.
8. WWF-Malaysia reserves the right to modify or cancel the Contest or any of the arrangements, schedules, plans or other items directly or indirectly related to the Contest, at any time and for any reason it deems necessary.
9. The Participant acknowledges that his/her participation in the Challenge above shall be at his/her own risk. All Participants in the Challenge shall assume full responsibility in case of any accident, damage or loss resulting from participation in any manner in the Challenge.
10. WWF-Malaysia and our partners shall not be liable to any Participants in respect of any error (including notification of contest winners), failure to win a prize, defective prizes or misuse of prizes or any other loss, damages, costs, expenses, claims, liabilities, injury, death, accidents suffered by the Participants during the Contest or arising out of or in connection with the Contest, the participation by the Participant in the Contest and/or the prizes awarded.
