Switch off and donate: Help protect forests and seas to safeguard our wellbeing and sustainable future.
FOR NATURE. FOR US. FOR WHAT’S NEXT
Join us in celebrating Earth Hour's 20th anniversary by switching off lights on Saturday, 28 March 2026 at 8.30pm until 9:30pm. Together, let’s show our commitment to protecting our forests and seas, and safeguarding our wellbeing for a sustainable future.

Protect our forests and seas to:
-
Safeguard our supply of clean air, water and food
-
Secure natural resources for businesses and homes
-
Strengthen our natural shield against climate change
Your important support has enabled WWF-Malaysia to work with government agencies and collaborators to:
-
Plant more than 430,000 trees to restore about 2,500 hectares of degraded forest areas
-
Revitalise more than 2,000 square metres of degraded reef area with 2,620 units of coral frames, consisting of 22,000 coral fragments from over 30 species.
-
Play a key role in establishing and/or improving the management effectiveness of many Protected Areas, saving more than 1 million hectares of forests and seas from various threats.

-
Our forests are threatened by deforestation due to unsustainable agriculture, urbanisation and logging.
-
Our seas are threatened by pollution, overfishing and unsustainable coastal development.
Your donation will help enable WWF-Malaysia to conserve forests and seas, and:
-
Safeguard the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we eat
-
Secure natural resources for businesses and homes
-
Strengthen our natural shield against climate change
