Currents: WWF-Malaysia Marine Programme Newsletter Jan - Mar 2013
In this issue, several highlights in our turtle conservation works include the Launch of the Turtle and Painted Terrapin Mini Gallery in Setiu, Terengganu, the first Annual General Meeting successfully held by the Hawksbill Eco-Club in Malacca and defying gravity for turtle study in Semporna, Sabah.
Furthermore, it has been an equally productive quarter for the Fisheries and Sustainable Aquaculture work with various activities that took place such as the Marine Fish Farmers Association of Malaysia's Seminar & Fund-Raising Dinner, the Ecosystem Approach for Fisheries Management (EAFM) Training for Resource Users and Managers in Sabah and the EAFM Steering Committee National Workshop held in Putrajaya.
The spotlight is also on The Proposed Tun Mustapha Park (TMP), with a special feature on the TMP, 10 Years after the intention to Gazette.
The team is not ready to unbuckle our seatbelts yet for the next quarter and we hope that you will continue to support our marine conservation efforts throughout Malaysia.
