Letter to the Editor: Need to upgrade facilities at National Parks
We refer to the article on the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment’s (NRE) announcement to upgrade facilities at all national parks. (‘Wildlife Dept declares ‘war’ – The Star 18 April). WWF-Malaysia fully supports NRE’s initiative to upgrade the facilities at all national parks. Tourists flock to natural attractions such as Taman Negara National Park to trek in the world’s oldest rainforest and get a glimpse of wildlife; some of which are found nowhere else in the world. » Read more
