To keep the Malayan tiger safe, we need patrol teams to be the eyes and ears on the ground. Without them, our tigers are at the mercy of poachers.

Our tiger conservation work costs around RM5 million per year. We hire almost 100 people to conduct patrolling and camera-trapping activities across the Belum-Temengor Forest Complex. Funds provide patrol teams with field rations, camping equipment, camera traps and also covers logistics. In terms of headcount, the tiger conservation project alone is bigger than other entire conservation NGOs in Malaysia, and we are likely the largest employer of indigenous people within Belum-Temengor.
