Nature Conservation Efforts Boosted by 5,000 Pledges from INTI

WWF-Malaysia sincerely thanks and heartily congratulates INTI International University & Colleges for collecting 5,000 Pledges for Nature across INTI campuses in Subang, Penang and Nilai from 1 February to 30 April 2022. Each pledge in support of Earth Hour and to plant a tree during 2022 strengthens the call to make nature conservation a national priority.

Many congratulations to the top three groups, comprising no more than 10 students, who collected the most pledges in their respective campuses. 90 groups across three INTI campuses participated in this pledge drive.

“We extend our heartfelt thanks to INTI for supporting our Pledge for Nature. Their immense support and contribution is especially meaningful as WWF-Malaysia celebrated 50 years of conservation efforts on 13 January 2022, and we look forward to a continued collaboration with INTI to shape a future in which people live in harmony with nature.

“We hope that this project empowered the students to develop real world skills, such as teamwork, solutions-oriented thinking, organisational and communications skills, which will give them a competitive advantage when they start building their careers in the future. We hope today’s INTI students will be tomorrow’s conservation champions,” said Ms Suan Tan, WWF-Malaysia Brand Activation Senior Manager.
