Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology Students Take Action For Turtles

WWF-Malaysia sincerely thanks the Foundation students from CPUS, Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT), led by student leaders Lo Ke Jia, Lim Jia Min, Lim Yik Hwee and Zi Xuan Hing. Under the supervision of their lecturer, Ms. Christine Chan Chew Yen, the students carried out their ‘Turtle Rangers’ Project from 10 March to 30 April 2025 to build support and raise funds for WWF-Malaysia’s nature conservation efforts.

The students honed their creativity, teamwork and communications skills by producing materials and content to highlight the importance of sea turtle conservation. They also set up a booth and sold food and drinks to raise about RM5000 for marine conservation efforts.
