The Detailed Environmental Impact Assessment (DEIA) process:
  • Gives the general public an opportunity to review and provide feedback;
  • Ensures that all environmental impacts of this project have been adequately identified and effective mitigation measures to reduce the identified impacts are proposed;
  • Ensures that stringent monitoring programmes are in order throughout the pre-construction, construction and operational stages of this project.
