Putrajaya, 25 July 2025 — WWF-Malaysia and Maybank are pleased to announce that the Run for Tigers event in celebration of Global Tiger Day will proceed as scheduled this Saturday, 26 July 2025, at Padang Semarak, Taman Wetlands Putrajaya.

However, to prioritise your health and safety, in the event of thunderstorms, heavy rain, or severe haze, the flag-off will be delayed by 30 minutes. You may then choose whether to proceed with the run or not, based on your own comfort and safety.

If weather conditions do not improve after the delay, the organisers reserve the right to cancel the run.

Should you choose not to run, or in the case of a cancellation, you may still collect your medal at the finishing line from 8:00 am onwards.

Participants are encouraged to stay hydrated, wear masks if sensitive to haze, and take personal precautions as needed. Medical support will be on standby throughout the event.
