The proposed 1.02 million hectares Tun Mustapha Park is situated in a key eco-region and priority area of the Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries and Food Security (CTI-CFF). Ludi Aspin, assistant director and head of park management and operations for Sabah Parks is working closely towards the gazettement of the marine park.

Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries and Food Security (CTI-CFF) Conference will be held at Marriot IOI Hotel, Putrajaya from 10-11 June 2013.
