This is a call to arms to stand up for our tigers. Together, we can stop the demand for tiger parts and consumption of tigers. Join us in this first ever flash mob for tigers!

For over 1000 years, tigers have been hunted for their parts.

World leaders will be at the Tiger Summit in Russia in September 2010, and we want them to act upon tiger trade. Through Freeze Tiger Trade, we aim to create massive attention on the tiger's plight; showing world leaders that we care about our wild Malayan tigers and that we support them to not just end tiger trade, but to double the
number of tigers by 2022 globally.

Apart from generating awareness, it's a call for people to unite and stand together for tigers. In conjunction with World Tiger Day (July 29), we are showing the world that
we care about our wild Malayan tigers and that we support the Malaysian government to Freeze Tiger Trade.

There are two ways to take part:

  •  Join the Freeze Tiger Trade Flash Mob (somewhere in Klang Valley). More details will be revealed when the actual date gets closer.
  • Conduct your own Freeze Tiger Trade flash mob, wherever you are! Be awesome and start your own Freeze Tiger Trade flash mob!
You don't have to be a professional dancer or actor; EVERYONE is welcomed to join us! More information will be made available closer to the date.

Make a stand against tiger trade. Join the Freeze Tiger Trade Flash Mob! Click here  to sign up TODAY!

I strongly agree the roadshows to be held at academic institutions either IPTA or IPTS. Students should be aware on this issues as they will lead our nation in the future. Organizing a campaigns or roadshows in the higher learning institutes is the best way to spread the words. Plus, through a social site such as Facebook also would be a good idea.

This needs to be proactive. there are still many people out there who are not aware of how detrimental this can be.I suggest roadshows at academic institutions since this is also a part of learning.

Awareness is definitely key to stopping the demand and this is a simple way to reach out to people about this problem!

this really sounds good on paper. but has anyone come up with a plan to negotiate the people involved in trade. Can we stop the demand so that the supply is not needed ?? Awareness is the key!
