1.   When you need to organize an event for your course or society at university, please consider having an environmental awareness campaign or raising funds for WWF-Malaysia’s conservation work.

2.    If your university is having an event, such as Open Day, please invite us to set up a booth where we can share information on conservation and sell WWF merchandise, with sales proceeds being channelled to our environmental protection work.

3.    If you are thinking of ways to help spread the green message, please consider collecting signatures in support of our campaigns. In recognition of youths who support our efforts to build environmental awareness, each educational institution or youth organisation that collects 1,000 or more signatures in support of WWF-Malaysia’s campaigns will be featured in our quarterly newsletter Green Heart.

For more information on our signature campaign, please visit http://livegreen.wwf.org.my/  or download the pledge form here. Please e-mail contactus@wwf.org.my if you would like to return completed pledge forms to us or would like more information on our signature campaigns.

4.    If you are planning a field trip for your course mates or society, please consider visiting the Setiu Wetlands, Terengganu. There you will get the unique opportunity to learn more about wetlands and turtle conservation at a beautiful beach while experiencing mangrove re-planting at one of the country’s most scenic wetlands, home to the world’s largest population of critically endangered painted terrapins. Moreover, you will get the chance to interact with the local community and enhance their livelihoods by participating in low impact ecotourism activities.

5. If you are looking to participate in exciting events in support of the green cause, please “like” us on facebook and look out for our event updates and call for volunteers.

If you would like to work with us on activities one to four, please e-mail Brandon at contactus@wwf.org.my with the following information:
  • Your name
  • Your contact details
  • Your school or university
  • How you would like to work with us
  • The date of the activity
