On 31st March 2012, the Sunway University Ensemble thrilled an audience of 300 people with its recital from 8:00pm till 9:30pm. The dedicated group of talented musicians -- comprising students, staff members and alumni -- performed classical and latin music as well as pieces from movie sound tracks. The performance was held in conjunction with Earth Hour 2012, which took place from 8:30pm to 9:30pm, so the extraordinary recital took place in the dark, with the musicians only using small LED lights while the conductor improvised with glow-in-the-dark wrist bands. During the event, green-hearted attendees took the opportunity to pledge their support for Earth Hour 2012 and WWF-Malaysia's conservation efforts.
