Team Leader

Leads the various projects related to tiger conservation. Has the privilege and pleasure of working very closely with a team of dedicated and passionate people.

Syazreen Sara Sukor
Communications Officer
Bridges WWF-Malaysia's Tiger Team with the outside world through various means of communication.

Michele Lee
Programme Officer (Ecological Corridors)
Looks at land-use issues and the improvement of tiger habitats through the restoration and maintenance of forest connectivity in Peninsular Malaysia.

Emmelia Azli Ayub
Programme Officer (Geographical Information System (GIS))
Assists in developing, producing and managing GIS and Remote Sensing-related outputs for the Programme Department with emphasis on the assigned Tiger Conservation project. Responsible for the integration of spatial geographical data and other types of database.

Mark Rayan Darmaraj
Programme Officer (Field Biology)
Deals with biodiversity and monitoring. Carries out tiger monitoring studies with the use of camera-traps in forests surrounding Jeli, Kelantan.

Programme Officer (Community Liaison)
Identifies and develops education and awareness programmes for the local community in reducing human-wildlife conflict.

Josil Murray
Programme Officer (Wildlife Assessment and Monitoring in Sustainable Forest Management)
Works to develop guidelines for assessing and monitoring wildlife in production forests in Peninsular Malaysia to ensure that logging practices has minimal impact on tigers and other wildlife.

Dayang Norwana bt Awang Ali Bema
Programme Officer (Human-Wildlife Conflict)
Works with government and non-government agencies to look into reducing conflict between human and wildlife.
