WWF captures extraordinary video of rare Sumatran rhino
A video “camera trap” positioned inside the forest of Sabah has captured rare footage of an elusive Sumatran rhinoceros. Steps for rhino protection in the Sabah side of the Heart of Borneo
A database on rhino habitat including food plants consumed by rhinos was established from January to June 2006 as very little data on rhino food plants was recorded during the previous rhino study in Sabah.  At least 35 plant species were identified.

Shy forest dweller ‘captured’ on film
Several main field camps have been established in the Heart of Borneo.  The field team regularly faces hardship and sometimes danger in carrying out their work in the field.  In February 2006, one of the field camps was washed away by flash floods. » Read more
