- Sabah Wildlife Department is the state authority that develops policy and implements legislation on wildlife with which WWF-Malaysia has had regular and strong liaison since 1988.
- Sabah Foundation (SF) manages most of the important forest areas for wildlife in Sabah. SF will be able to support the programme by providing access, facilities and logistics.
- Sabah Forestry Department’s Forest Research Centre works with WWF-Malaysia to gather field information and develop protocols relating to forest restoration for timber production and wildlife habitat improvement.
- SOS Rhino works on the protection and expansion of rhinos in the wild by supporting rhino protection and survey teams and involving local stakeholders in conservation efforts.
