Forest restoration more effective for orang-utan survival
WWF-Malaysia does not feel that it would be practical to take local-level, subjective steps to minimise impact on orang-utans (e.g. ‘no felling of trees containing orang-utan nests’ is one idea that has been proposed), as such steps would depend too much on activities that cannot be adequately monitored and may in any case not be effective. » Read more
