WWF staff doing ground truthing to assess tree species and ground surveys to determine orang-utan distribution and density

Results from monitoring nest distribution patterns

Forest quality and habitat classification was done using the SPOT image (2.5 meter resolutions) and followed by forest ground truthing to assess the tree species and forest composition status with assistance from the Sabah Forestry Department and Forest Research Centre.
