Dabong Limestone Formation
Steering and Technical Committees for the park have been formed and the Chairman of WWF-Malaysia has been appointed to the Steering Committee. WWF-Malaysia has prepared a preliminary management plan for the Gunung Stong State Park and this was submitted to the Kelantan State government in December 2006.
Funding has been secured for the second phase of this project to complete a comprehensive management plan for the Gunung Stong State Park. This proposed project would include training for park staff, consulting with local communities and awareness activities targeted at the public.
