Gunung Stong State Park
Initial field surveys have been conducted in the Stong area covering birds, bats, plants and the Dabong caves to the south of the proposed park. The project team has also made field observations along the proposed park’s extensive trail system.
One exciting find is a swampy area located 1000 metres above sea level. We’ve yet to study this unique habitat extensively but who knows? It may provide us with new insights on our biodiversity.
