Partners

In establishing the Royal Belum State Park, WWF-Malaysia’s main partner is the Perak State Parks Corporation. Other relevant agencies include the Perak State Forestry Department and Department of Wildlife and National Parks.

Funders

Thousands of Malaysians donate a fixed amount of their income under the Direct Debit Donor Programme to WWF-Malaysia. These public funds from generous individuals keep the project going.

Our work was given a boost when Honda Malaysia generously donated RM5 million to conserve the Sumatran rhinoceros at the Royal Belum and Danum Valley in Sabah. Part of this funding will be used to prepare the tourism management plan for the Royal Belum.
